Razmiel

Razmiel: Character art for the Torn World RPG. I based the characters mask and helmet on the Iron Maiden.

About the Character:
Razmiel was at first a man like any other, but during his rise of power for the forces of darkness and chaos he became a powerful necromancer, and during his years in captivity and imprisonment he became some...thing ... else.

Razmiel's power was in his ability to feed from suffering and pain; from the negativity of those around him he would grow in power. From this ability to feed - almost vampire-like - he would grow, and ultimately Razmiel could soak pain, suffering, jealousy, and hatred from kingdoms ... even entire continents.

When he was released at the end of the Second Age, Razmiel's power grew exponentially - more so than ever before, because Taron and shielding affects the artifact-sword known as Frey were now no more; without Frey to prevent Razmiel from feeding, there was nothing to prevent him from turning the entire world into one of despair.

Every negative emotion, every pain, and every hurt was visited upon the world, and alongside it Razmiel's power grew to be godlike.

For thirty three years the world was Razmiel's personal torture chamber, and he ruled absolutely. Torn never recovered from this time, and it has withered ever since...
